FIXED RINGS

Application

When access to the rear of a panel is restricted or the top surface of a tank is in poor condition the fixing ring will be beneficial. Fixing rings can be specified for all Aero filler caps, as an optional extra.

Types

The 'C' type with a stainless steel thread inserts usually for panel fit, but can be used in a tank with sealant on the screw threads. The 'C' design allows the fix ring to be passed through the filler cap hole in the tank or panel.

S Types

The 'S' type solid design has blind threads and is intended to weld flush to a tank surface giving a perfect fitting platform. It can also be placed inside the tank so as to sandwich the tank material between the flange and the fixing ring.
